I am fortunate to have the original artwork for the Ironwing Sun, which I have placed by my Tarot study/reading table. Powerful and uplifting imagery, indeed!

Hi Nicole,
Thanks - so glad you love it! It's from The Pen Tarot - my little Fig Tree's latest love child - at the printers right now. I should be ready to put the new web page up next week - will start a new thread with a link when it's all systems go...

WOW any chance of us seeing updates or previews?! :) The image is really nice and different from the more common look seen in tarot art.

I've made the Pen Tarot webpage but I'm not quite ready to put it up yet - cards to sort, LWBs to trim etc. - in the meantime:

Lovely atmospheric image, mythos - is it a painting? Re. WINTER in the OTHER hemisphere - surely that's just like our summer here in GB?

I love that card, so moody and wonderful. What is it from? Or is it a picture?Last edited on Tue Jun 24th, 2008 08:04 pm by skad1

I wish I could translate this image into a painting ... it is a photo I took here. The moon looked so much bigger through the camera screen. Digital cameras are my bete noire. I'm also impaired with photoshop type programs, otherwise I would play with it ... print it out and then paint it on canvas with extras for my Moon painting.

It'd look great done on black paper with white (or a light colored) pencil.
