My current avatar is from The Tarot of Relections with art by Francesco Ciampi. It is from the Moon card.
Is your avatar from a tarot deck and if so, which one?
ETA: Please post your avatar as an attachment. By doing so, if you change your avatar, your post will still refer to your correct avatar at that time.

I haven't sorted out how to post my usual one here, so I'm a tree - sits me okay.
But on Aeclectic I use the back design of Lorena's Ironwing Tarot - with her express permission

They haven't been with held, just held back. They are amateurish at best, and not yet worthy of a wider dissemenation.

I use this avatar on all Tarot forums, if I can.
It's from a very beautiful and somewhat strange deck (Marseilles type), "Le Tarot d'Ambre". The story of the accompanying book is based on Roger Zelazny's "The Chronicles of Amber".
The character is the King of Cups - Random is his name in the series.

My avatar is not from a tarot deck. It is from tattoo flash that I want to have put on my arm...I meant to do it for my 40th bday, but didn't have the $...maybe #41?
I would change it, but I have the same one on another forum and I like that maybe people will remember me...
At least, if they have good memories! Which I hope they do

Not as much as llamas do! They're far more zen than llamas. I believe alpacas are the wisest of all creatures, practically lliving Gods. If they spit at someone, it's with good reason!
Check out 'cute alpaca' on youtube - there's a face-off between an alpaca and a horse. The horse tries to pull the wool over the alpaca's eyes, so the alpaca puts him in his place with a headshot.

Mine is something I saw on one of those funny cat websites. I like it because it looks just my Timmy did. Kitty is gone now, but he was special (even for a cat he was special, and cats are special just to start with.) He used to do the paw thing alot. We'd play patty cat to see whose paw/hand was on top. But he was a sore loser, if I was winning, he'd leave.
My original avatar was cropped from the Flying Hearts Tarot. I just really got a kick out a blue cow, with a pencil in his tail.

My avatar is from an etching I did some years ago.
It's not a tarot card.
It's a "W" and a couple of wolves.

Wellllll ... I did make a "second edition", much as I know people HATE that kind of thing here. It was why I abandoned my idea ages ago to do up some more. But that's off topic.

Actually Quarkling and truelighth have the SECONDEST eition; there were LITERALLY only two in the VERY first.....
*signed: she who has the copy from that that wasn't jackdaw's own*
I keep it in a lovely wooden box; I pay homage to it most days.....
And you never said it was limited at any time, as far as I know ? Well, except what you wrote on my title card !

Quarkling has the first edition -the one I made for moi when I made Gregory's at the same time. Any others were from an ill-considered "second edition".
