Well, I found the '20th Century Tarot' by Kevin Burne and published by Skor-Mor Corporation copyright 1970 Anaheim, CA, USA in a used bookstore today. It's absolutely pristine, (the outer box, cards, and oversized booklet-- as tho never used at all), and, being that it's from 1970, was just a shock to me that this state of affairs was so, and so, was the reason I bought it! :gi

Alas... I have no information about this deck at all, and would like some. If anyone out there has any, I would surely appreciate it.

I paid $15-dollars for it, but maybe it's like the Miss Cleo, practically not worth the cardstock it's printed on, *lol*. So, naturally, am wondering what the actual value of this deck is in tarot-world.

Thanks for any help in this, and I apologize for not posting any pics... my printer/scanner is on the fritz right now, *sigh*, but I'm working on it, *vbs*

All I know (aside from the fact that I have one which cost me $10 when it was still in print) is that someone was DESPERATE for one and offering up to $50 a little while ago.....

Ask Jeannette.... But it's a lovely time warp to look at it !

Thanks so much, gregory... I hadn't even thought of contacting Jeannette... Well, am glad to know it's worth a little bit more than what I paid for it!

Yeah... it really is a kind of time-warp deck, isn't it? I don't really find it all that attractive myself, (as I don't care for unillustrated pips), but the Majors are trippy. I'm still trying to get my printer working... would really like to post some pics.

I'm also doing some research to find out just who Skor-Mor Corporation was. It doesn't sound like a publishing-house to me, so am intrigued as to why they would make such a deck as this one... but then, what do I know? *lol*

Oh, wow... just found out that Skor-Mor was a manufacturing company that made geo-logic puzzles along the lines of Rubik's Cube and such... I just wrote to a puzzle Collector to see if he can tell me any more about this company.

Oh! thanks gregory! You pick... I figured just a couple of Majors, a couple of Courts, a couple of Minors. I just wanted the thread to have a look-see at the deck... I like it so much better when I can see the cards someone is talking about!

Thank you so much, gregory... I appreciate your taking the time and bother to post these pics... it really does make the thread 'real' concerning this obscure deck. :ok

Hey, lassie... where've ya been!?! Haven't seen you around for awhile, :f

Aye, the cards are very minimalist... they remind me of another artist, but I can't for the life of me think of who... sheesh... maybe I need some of that ginko stuff, *lol*

Well, the price was right for the pristine condition the whole kit was in, given its age... if it was a new deck, I wouldn't have bought it, *lol*

I have seen acouple decks go for over 80 dollars (last year), and I paid 50 for mine so I really think 15.00 was a good deal!

Oh! that is encouraging, :ok Thanks so much for responding to my inquiry, skad!

Now, if I could only find a Greenwood for $15-bucks, :gi
