Great new forum. Debra put me on to it (thanks!). I thought I would get my feet wet with a question I have. I figure if anyone can help it would be you folks. I recently acquired a Visconti-Sforza published by US Games and printed by AGMuller. It is dated ©1975,1984. The reprint numbers in the front of the LWB look like this: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3. Now I know that there are two previous editions printed in Italy by Graficia Gutenberg (actually 3 but I'm not counting the very first one, the limited edition) and the numbers in those LWBs are like this: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 and 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2. When the AGMuller was released it featured new Devil and Tower cards by Luigi Scapini. Does anyone know if this new edition would have started back at one again (10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1) making mine a third printing, or is it a first printing of the new edition? Does anyone have the AGMuller printing with numbers that start with 1 or 2? That is probably the easiest way to find out for sure. I have tried to make this as clear as possible but sometimes it doesn't always come out the way you intended. Let me know if this isn't clear and I will try to clarify. |

I can't help but I understand your frustration because for the longest time I've been trying to track down a copy of the Visconti by LS/A.A.Attanasov......not the latest edition.........the previous Gold Ed. wherein the Tower and Devil are taken from the Rothschild Sheet |

That one is pretty scarce. Actually, a lot of LS's early editions are hard to find and when you do they are usually expensive. If I run across one I'll let you know. |
