What's a nice diameter for a circular deck? Just thinking in general terms. It would likely be limited ed, so considerations such as shuffle-able size aren't as important (since collectors are bound to shuffle them less than their regular decks). Though I was thinking cards the size of dinner plates would be too unwieldly as well? Would 5 or 6 inches be too big?

I have the Round Kazanlar Tarot major cards. They are 4.5 inch. It's a nice size. I like big size cards. Maybe 5 inch?

Since I have extra post-cards of Kazanlar Tarot, if you'd like me to and PM your address I could send you a round postcard :-)

Thanks Rylla! So far from the feedback I've gotten and from my original plans, it's probably going to be between 4.5 to 6 inches (though that's still a big range). I was thinking of getting a circular diecut blade done. So I'd want one with dimensions which I can reuse again for other projects.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here, but circular cards are one of my weaknesses  :)

I didn't know this deck had come with circular cards; it's rectangular in it's mass market version I think? Can you give any more details about the majors set you have? Sounds wonderful.

Thank you

:m

Hi, it's the SUMEREMILHUN tarot, by Kazanlar Emil, 2002. 22 majors +2 extra cards: Reason and Intuition. I've got it from the artist, who was kind enough to bring it to the Hotel I was staying in in Budapest this summer. They also gave me extra postcards, not the whole set just 3-4 design, if you want me I can send them to you (have few more copies).

If you do a search Sumeremilhun Kazanlar tarot on Google his website will come up

http://www.kazanlar.hu/elerhetoseg and there it is his email address:

kazanlar@kazanlar.hu

by contacting him through email I've got the cards.

I'l attach some cards soon.

Hi Rylla. I contacted him about this, and he asked for a deck in exchange, rather than money. Did you have that experience too?  It's an in-print deck, so that should be no problem :)rylla wrote: Hi, it's the SUMEREMILHUN tarot, by Kazanlar Emil, 2002. 22 majors +2 extra cards: Reason and Intuition. Rylla - I forgot to say: thank you! The postcard arrived a month ago, after the flood, so it didn't get drenched. :)

Hi  Pathwalker,

yes, the same...actually I liked that...he asked for Morgan G deck - nothing expensive or hart-to-find (for us!) -it just showed me his stroger passion for Tarot than Money!

Hi BlueToy,

glad to hear that - i was expecting that you'll never get it because of the flood.

Yes - I just got mine - also in exchange for a deck - a very sensible way of dealing with things, I thought - having just had to enlist help getting a deck from Romania - same currency/credit card issue !

Let me get this straight ... he wants decks instead of money?

I am lost here and I love this art...
