June 2015, italian historian Giordano Berti published with Araba Fenice Publ. a very particular deck composed of 40 enigmatic figures: "THE SIBYL OF THE HEART".

The original images was engraved in 1616-17 by swiss artist Rudolph Mayr for a book edited by Luca Jennis and written by a follower of the Rosicrucians: the german theologian Daniel Cramer.

The common theme of the images is “the heart”, regarded as the seat of human emotions, but also a symbol of moods that involve all people in the course of their existence.
In Cramer’s emblems, the heart undergoes various processes and experiences through 40 stages.

Those same emblems have been reinterpreted by famous fortuneteller Odete Lopes, an expert in the study of the Petit Lenormand.
In the hand of M.me Lopes, the 40 rosicrucian emblems become a "game" to investigate oneselves and the feelings of other people.

The deck produced in 2015 (painted by bulgarian artist Stilyian Stefanov) is a multi-language edition, with a keyword on each card (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese).

The booklet (64 pages) is currently available in Italian, English, Portuguese or German.

The booklet has a historical introduction, where Giordano Berti explain the origins of this work.

The Sibyl of the Heart has been printed in LIMITED EDITION: 800 numbered copies, handsigned by Berti on a Warranty card.

Deck and booklet are contained in a beautiful box created by italian art designer Letizia Rivetti.
