The surrealist painter Leonor Fini created a set of playing cards.
These were first printed by Acanthe of Paris, c.1950. A second Edition was published in a limited edition of 1000 in 1992 by Galerie Dionne.
There are 52 cards plus 2 jokers. They are 64x88 mm with gold gilt edges.
The figures on the jokers are depicted with masks, and of course, Fini is well known for her use of masks.
